Which fibre ISP?

[link to this post]

I am currently on O2 ADSL+ but with the arrival of FTTC I want to move to a fibre supporting ISP. I was thinking of going to Zen. Comments on that or any other suggestions? Thx

If you have lots of money then a good place to be.

I'm just as happy on Plusnet FTTC as I was on O2 ADSL2+ and then IDNet FTTC. I went to IDNet cos I was worried about leaving O2 but wanted fibre, but at the end of my 12 months decided I was paying through the nose for little benefit compared BT/Sky/Plusnet.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk | Domains,website and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 54.2/15.2Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

Speeds look similar to other fibre providers, not surprisingly. And given their dodgy customer service rep I shall give them a miss. But thanks for the suggestion.

I've decided to go for Plusnet. Its £15 a month cheaper that Zen, and unlimited. So we shall see...

I'm sure you will like it. Who is your line rental with, and are you moving that to Plusnet as well? If it is with O2 then we need to get a PN rep talking to you as things have occasionally gone wrong with the double move.

If it isn't with O2 then there won't be a problem.
