New ISP near house move

[link to this post]

I've been with Plusnet for quite a while. I'm on a short line and get decent speeds with ADSL 2+. All has been good so far.
However, my line has developed a fault this morning, meaning broadband is dropping out every 5-10 mins. I'm currently trying to contact Plus.net to get it fixed, but I'd not realised how bad their customer service had become. It seems the only way of contacting them now is by sitting in an on-hold queue.
So I'm looking around.
One complication I have is a house move which is coming up over the next couple of months. That will also involve a jump to FTTC. Will most providers let you move house during the contract period? I would guess that moving to FTTC after a house move will trigger a minimum contract period.
Also, who is worth looking at? Sky and Talktalk have an LLU presence for fibre and ADSL.
Many thanks

To contact Plusnet I would suggest you try the 'chat' rather than the phone.

The chat option was disabled (much to my annoyance)
To be fair, they were pretty helpful when I finally got through.
