New ISP required.

[link to this post]

Hi guys,

I am looking for a new FTTC ISP that can be used with a WLR line as I use Post Office line rental.

I am currently with Xilo on a £35 a month 75 GB peak and unlimited off peak 80/20 profile.

I suppose it would not be the end of the wold if I went down to 40/10 profile.

I have the openreach modem and an ASUS router so would prefer to keep that combination.

I would rather reduce the costs per month as I might be moving out of this house in the near future to my own place but will keep this product as my parent lives in this property for when I come down (how could I cope with no internet)

I have seen Plusnet at a good price but looks bad in forums etc

Any ideas.

Thanks very much in advance.

IDnet's Fibre Pro - 500GB for £35.40
http://www.idnet.net/data_products/fttc-self-install...

seems a pretty nice deal

with migration from an existing FTTC service £0

but of course this is the same price just more usage which is probably not that helpful

If you want to reduce the cost completely then i think plusnet would be the cheapest isp around that would let you keep the phoneline.

You've quoted the Business price which doesn't include Vat.

Is there a reason to stick with WLR?

I'm paying £29 for 55/10 fibre and line rental with BT. Sky would be a similar price and probably plus net too.

If you're on BT, you'll be using WLR too!

Got to stick with Post Office as my mother and aunts all have this and it's free for them to call each other at anytime.

LOL
You mean you edited it while I was checking out the prices and drafting my post. When I read your post it had £29.nn.
