CloudScape Connect

Hi, does anyone have any experiences with CloudScape Connect?

I've not seen much about them online, are they new?

Lsat filing they had £22k of assets, £159K of debts and £293 in the bank..

Run by 3 people. Not for me that's for sure! My 2yr old son has more cash flow than this ISP!

I might have read it wrong, but see for yourself.

They've had nothing but glowing reviews on ispreview website.

Personally I joined them in June last year after my village finally upgraded from ADSL to VDSL.
I have their unlimited fibre package with them.

Since I've been with them the past half a year they have been absolutely 100% rock solid, no noticeable throttling of any kind, getting the full 80/20 speeds.

Highly recommended, good customer support, easy to use website showing stats of usage, would pick them over one of the majors in a heartbeat.

((FYI, those figures stated above are from their very first year of trading from 2014-2015. It's not unusual for a company to start in debt, gotta speculate to accumulate and all that before building up customer base. But whatever, I'm just going by my own experience, they've been solid for me and it seems for everyone else who's reviewed them online.))

The figures for the second year should be in soon. Not much to be gleaned from those first year accounts. That relatively large liability is likely to be the cost of their first 12 months supplier contract.

I just had a look at their fair use policy and it seemed a bit over the top, especially the one for business broadband if you work from home and use the connection for home purposes as well. https://www.cloudscapeconnect.com/policies/fairuse.asp

How is that over the top? It is no different to any other ISP.

It basically says that you can't use their service fr anything illegal.

I joined them last year, and had a few issues with the connection, contention issues etc, took ages to sort out, and customer services was lacking a bit.

Issues were sorted in the end, but again took an age, and the replies to emails seem to be lacking when its a support issue. Sometimes you have to kick them a few times to get things sorted out.

Otherwise my connection has been great once they migrated me from the VODA backbone to Zen.

Get decent speeds, slow down at peak is almost none existent now, if it stays this way I'll stay a customer. I think as they are a small firm they've had teething troubles.

The staff are polite, and they do as much as they can to help (once the emails are replied to).
