ADSL Max Premium Market A providers?

[link to this post]

My broadband is approaching the end of the discounted deal, so Iím looking for a new deal. Now, Iím still waiting to find out whether I stand a chance of getting FTTP in my area, so I donít want to be locked into a very long contract (no more than 12 months if possible).

Iím in a Market A area, where the only option is ADSL Max. As I work from home I need the best upload speed I can get, so I need ADSL Max Premium. I also need a static IP address. I donít really care whether it is a business or domestic service (there isnít much difference for ADSL Max, but some ISPs only offer Premium on business tariffs).

My requirements are basically:
- ADSL Max Premium
- Static IP
- Unlimited (or a minimum of 100GB a month during working hours)
- I donít need any inclusive calls

Iíve been looking around and so far have the following possible providers that meet these requirements with monthly costs:

Plusnet £38.32 (Iím currently with Plusnet)

idnet £39.50

BT Business £41.28 (but only a 24 month contract available)

Pulse8 £51.00

Aquiss £55.20

Uno £59.98 (broadband and phone as separate packages)

Zen £90.00 (this is for a "discontinued" business offering that could be resurrected for me)

John Lewis Broadband donít offer ADSL Max Premium but otherwise are the cheapest
Post Office don't offer Premium
EE don't offer Premium

Origin claimed they would provide 15Mb down, 1-2Mb up, and were rude when I suggested it wasnít possible (the chap I spoke to has ADSL Max at home so knows heís right)

There is no service available in my area from:
- AAISP
- Sky
- TalkTalk (or any of their resellers)
- Virgin Media
- Vodafone

Are there any other ISPs I should look at?

No......

I'm also on a market A (max only) exchange, I have phone line and calls with pulse8 (business option for the better care option) and BT Business for broadband only again this has 24 Hour care response.

I don't bother with static IP I find using a dynamic host name service (duckdns) perfectly okay for my needs.

I also don't bother with MAX premium, router QOS stops uploads saturating the connection.

I am sure BT business will let you upgrade if FTTC(P) becomes available.

dynamic dns is ok for some uses but I need a real static IP for two reasons:
1) incoming VPN (certificate is tied to a specific IP address)
2) I run a mail server, and mail from a dynamic IP will be black listed by most spam checkers

I also don't bother with MAX premium, router QOS stops uploads saturating the connection.

I also use QoS to avoid saturation, but video conferencing using Skype for business needs more than 432kbps (Microsoft Lync used to be OK).

BT have no plans to upgrade my exchange, but Gigaclear have a contract for some premises in my county - I'm waiting to find out whether it will include my area. Even if it is it may still be 2020 by the time FTTP is deployed. If not included, then...
