Wednesday 15 July - Let the Windows 7 pre-order

[link to this post]
The Windows 7 Beta and RC versions have been very well received by consumers and media alike, and both have been downloaded by millions of people worldwide. To pre-order a discounted copy of the final version of Windows 7 you need to contact our selected retail partners listed below or go

http://www.microsoft.com/uk/windows/buy/offers/pre-o...

Finally, a quick reminder for our UK customers: if you are replacing an older version of Windows with Windows 7 once it arrives on 22 October, a clean install of the operating system and the installation of an internet browser will be required. For more information on how to do this go

Also already ordered. Amazon are 10% cheaper than everywhere else seems to be (although for some reason home premium has become unavailable at the moment, maybe they have a glitch as I managed to buy it and pro at 8.30 this morning).

Dear Customer,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Store.

Due to the eagerly anticipated Windows 7 pre-order offer we’re experiencing a higher level of demand on our website than usual. This means you can’t access the site right now and we’re sorry about that. We’ll be back up and running as soon as we can so please try again soon to get your hands on a copy of Windows 7!

Does anyone know what the price is at the Microsoft Store (can't check due to high demand on the webiste)? Quidco have a deal with the MS Store to get 15% cashback for software purchases.

Failing that I'll just get it from Amazon. smile

Stuart

I'm interested (since this is the price I feel Windows should cost normally!), but...
* The offer runs from July 15th 2009 until August 9th 2009, and there are limited quantaties

I wish this forum had a  smiley...
