Micro XP: can't install printer

[link to this post]

I am trying to install an Epson SX 215 on to an old machine that has Micro XP installed.

All the drivers appear to load, but keep getting an error about not recognising printer.

I suspect that this Micro edition has a lot of normal XP files missing.

Does anyone else have any experience of Micro XP or can offer a solution.

Thanks.

Probably lacking something it shouldn't. Make you own with nlite. Use black viper as a guide.

I solved the problem with my printer. I have a Konica Minolta PagePro 1350W. The file "msvcrt40.dll" was missing. I found this file on the internet and downloaded this into my system32 folder. The printer installed and works perfect. I forgot to mention that this worked on all versions of MicroXP. Hope this helps.
