Windows Live Query??

[link to this post]

Is there anyway that I can configure an Account to permit an Automatic BCC?

Basically I want to configure an account to automatically copy it to a back-up account without the recipient being aware that there is a copy!

TIA!

NB this is a fairly simple option in Email Clients, such as Thunderbird, but I can not find it in "Live"

Is this for monitoring the e-mails, or backing up the data?

If this is in a business beware of the legality of this.

Monitoring emails without the recipient's consent is a criminal act under the Interception of Communications Act 1985. And if the recipient consents then he already knows that you are copying the emails.

Edit: The Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 is probably the applicable act nowadays.

I'm not sure that the legality aspect only applies in a business environment. I think that covert monitoring of emails is a very suspect legal area whether done in the workplace or privately.

Legalities aside, I suspect that you will need to install a plugin to do this (unless Live Mail supports VBA, meaning a fairly simple macro could do it)..

If OP is the sender then I agree. But that's not the way that I read the query. If he just wants to keep copies of emails that he sends there are easy ways to do so.

Apologies to the OP if I misunderstood your question.
