Nero DVD

[link to this post]

Hi

I have just used nero essentials software to burn mpeg movie files to a dvd but there seems to be a problem with the sound. It is high pitched although the original movie files sound are fine.

Any ideas why this is happening and how do I fix it?

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that Essentials is only good for anything but the simplest of burning tasks and converting random video formats to DVD format before burning is not a simple task! Others here may know a way of using Essentials for what you want.
Personally, for the very few video DVD's I now create, I use an old version of ConvertXtoDVD. Unfortunately, the free version of this is pretty limited too.

What is the audio format the MPEG-2 files?

e.g. If it is MP2 or PCM Nero could be having problems re-encoding to AC-3...
