Logik w/less k/board/mouse-no Caps/Num/Scroll Lock indicator

[link to this post]

A friend has recently bought a Logik wireless keyboard & mouse combo. Apart from a battery low LED there's no indication of the status of the three Locks on the keyboard. There was also no software included to give an on-screen indication.

I can't find any web site for Logik so have no idea whether there is any downloadable Logik utility. I can find a number of little utilities that give a system tray indicator, e.g. NumCapsScroll Indicator and Keyboard Leds.

Anyone know whether either of these are ok, or better alternatives?

There should be a specific driver supplied (or hopefully on the internet) which then shows up notifications of caps/num/scroll lock status. Tried the manufacturers website?

I use TrayStatus
Find it does exactly what I want.

A bottle of white, a bottle of red
Perhaps a bottle of rosé instead.

No, it's one of these. I can find a web site for LogikTV but not for Logik.

Edit: I'm coming to the conclusion that Logik is a PC World etc. (i.e. DSG) brand name.

Thanks, that looks very similar to this from Trust which I've installed for a Trust using friend.

Correct!
Currys, Dixons and PC World TVs

Curry's main own-brand TV range is called Logik, a name that lends itself to other electrical products, too.
Don't Buy! More fool you going to PC World frown.

no doubt it is a PC world own thing.

£20 for mouse and keyboard is far too cheap to be honest.

£20 for a keyboard alone would give you something that is decent, , but not wireless.

you can buy cheap mice for a few quid, but most are to be honest rubbish, certainly when wireless.

If you read the OP it wasn't me, I don't. Of course there are plenty of people who do use PC World - else they would have long gone out of business. Equally there are plenty who wouldn't use PC World. It's clear which camp you fall into, but no need to insult those who do.

The buyer is quite happy with the keyboard and mouse. It's just that, like many wireless units, they don't have 'Locks' indicators built in. Some, such as Trust, provide a web site download, others don't. Hence my original question about a safe and decent little utility as I have a feeling that one or two recent small issues have resulted from him not knowing the state of the Locks. I hope to get over to see him in the next week or two and am trying to be prepared.
