Odd Mouse Behaviour

[link to this post]

I'm using a Logitech MX Revolution mouse on a Windows 64 bit system. In Windows Explorer I have set under 'Folder Options' to launch a program by double clicking the file (eg, launching a photo viewing program on double clicking jpg's).

However, around 50% of the time when I single click on a file the program launches, which is really annoying!

Any solutions??

Best Regards

I have Microsoft optical mouse, ~ 4 years old.
The left button has become sticky, so it tends to double click,
drag and drop has become almost impossible.
The blasted thing is sealed, so no chance of cleaning the contacts !
I have now swithced to another mouse.
I would expect your problem is the same......

Martin

I discovered the error. It was related to Bluetooth failing, replaced keyboard/mouse!
