Emailing Webpage facility in IE9 gone!

[link to this post]

Up until this weekend, I could email a copy of the current IE9 browser page. Just noticed that this facility has disappeared.

Annoyingly, the facility is not in Firefox and I have yet to find an add-on which will allow me to do so easily.

Cheers!

Clive

Yes, that would likely work, but no where can I see a means of getting to File!

The nearest I can get to sending the webpage by email is to right-click on the page and then select, "E-mail with Windows Live" However, that requires a Microsoft Outlook account (their replacement for Hotmail).

I don't see why if I wish to email a webpage, either to myself (which I often do for BBC news pages for archive purposes), or to anyone else; I should have to route via Microsoft - heck! They may have done a deal with the NSA !!!

Cheers!

Right mouse click at the top of the window and tick Menu Bar. Then the File drop down menu is available - as are the other menu items.

Sounds like you have turned off the Menu Bar which includes File. Right click on the top of the browser and tick Menu Bar or just press Alt to temporarily display the Menu Bar.
