Export Favourites

[link to this post]

I'd like to export my list of favourite websites (IE8) to two other computers ( IE11) running Win7 and Win8 respectively. Ideally I'd like to have them stored on a flash drive too. Is there a way to do this?

File -> Import and export

then follow your nose.

Alternatively, you could try Xmarks. This will automatically keep your favourites in sync. I use Xmarks with Firefox and could not manage without it.

'Sir, please,' she said... 'Will you not share your wisdom with us?'
'I have no wisdom,' he told her.
'Your experiences, then?'
'They have been trivial, uninteresting, and full of error.'

Which OS is running IE8? Sounds lile XP else you'd be running IE11.

If XP, copy the contents of:
\Documents and Settings\you\Favorites
to:
\Users\you\Favorites
on W7 & 8.

Thanks for the helpful replies. It's my work laptop running Win7 Professional with IE8. I'll ask if I can upgrade to 11 - I have no control over updates due to admin rights being down to our network manager.
