Metro Apps stalling

Just tried to run Calendar, Mail and they both stall at opening screen. Windows 8.1 with leaked update 1 applied, anyone got a fix?

Nope but check the event log - may have useful info. Presume you have tried a restart (NOT shutdown and then turn back on)

Found a fix on the Eight Forum, downloaded a troubleshooter cabinet seems to have fixed it for now but calendar seems flaky, sometimes loading ok sometimes loading slowly.

Error came back after a few minutes. Logging off seems to fix it, but dont know how long for.

Uptime is 21 days. After checking the event log there are some "app did not launch in alotted time" events for calendar and mail and windows error reporting seems to have sent files to MS related to these events. After logging out and back in both apps seem much snappier to start.
