Interesting x6 speed test difference between browsers

[link to this post]

Thought I would look a little deeper into why the x6 speed test is always lower than the x1 speed

O/S W8.0 x64

From FF29

From IE10

Seems strange that FF struggles with the x6 streams whereas IE doesn't.

Hmmm

What I find is that using a LAN cable (aside from lower latency) is that the x1 test speed is greater than the x6 test speed. With Wifi, it is the opposite way around...

Now with plusnet

FF doesn't work as well with flash and that's why its affecting flash based speed tests.

I've switched over to using Palemoon (which is FF based) but the differences are astounding!
