Windows 10 x64 or x86 on 4 gig of ram.

As per title really which will be the best performing. I have a dual boot at the moment with win 8.1 32 bit and win 10 x64 on another partition. Must admit I cant see much difference in performance on my machine but what would people recommend to use?

Win 10 x64 takes a lot longer to boot eg from selection screen to lock/login whereas 8.1 only takes about 2 seconds. Loading startup apps on both is about the same. Over to you.

Do you know if there's still debug code in the version of Win 10 you're booting? Obviously that would slow it down a bit...

Actually, I used to love this one - https://files.scene.org/view/demos/groups/farb-rausc...

It's now 15 years old, and even back then it was considered pretty damn good for 64K (not really - that's it's storage size)

Worth watching to the end as the credits have interesting stats. About 10 minutes in length.

Quite possible, although other forums say win 10 should be faster.
