Single thread downloads are erratic depending on browser

[link to this post]

Started this post in TTS but I am now thinking it is a windows problem.

To summarise with the latest Chrome browser and firefox single thread downloads are half what multiple thread downloads are. This includes downloading test files as well as the Speedtest. Yet Edge and Cent (Chrome clone) single thread downloads are perfect.

Any ideas? My other desktop both Edge and Firefox have the single thread problem but that is also wireless.

Just updated Cent to 64 bit version and now single thread downloads are playing up on that, what the heck? Must be a windows setting somewhere.

Fixed it by going to settings network and reseting network, then a reboot and all is well. Took ages to find that button even tried TCPOptimizer 4. All browsers working correctly.
