which adblok to install

[link to this post]

Hi, with the new Microsoft Edge browser installed , I am thinking to add the extensions and an ad blocker. But which one ? there seem to be several free ones. Could anybody recommend one please!

Adblock Plus is one I trust.

That's the one I use on Chrome. On Edge or IE11 I don't bother at the moment.

But watch out for the "allow acceptable ads" setting

uBlock Origin seems to be very good -- Firefox is now usable again on my Celeron laptop. It was really struggling with Adblock Plus. Thanks. smile

'Sir, please,' she said ... 'Will you not share your wisdom with us?'
'I have no wisdom,' he told her.
'Your experiences, then?'
'They have been trivial, uninteresting, and full of error.'

Adblock Plus and Ghostery (both in use here) are decent.
