new service speeds - Kijoma

[link to this post]

Hi,

Its not often our customers get a decent result out of the TB speed tester (must be a bottleneck somewhere out there?) but this is an exception>

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/1...

This is on our new service that covers Portsmouth area, currently under test. More Beta testers considered.. (see site for coverage map).

Cheers

I'm still waiting for you to get back to me about purchasing your service, how is it you have time for this, but no time for a new customer :/

hi,

Thanks Pacman, too true on the hours here tongue.

Due to the political and media attention on broadband at present we don't have enough hours in the day to get to everybody and some enquiries get lost in the stampede, I can only personally apologise if we missed you back then (my post you referred to was in January?!) , the weather was particularly bad as i remember and posting on here probably occurred because I was personally snowed in and unable to go out and work.

We are currently in the process of recruiting more installers to deal with the flood of demand , once they are in place we will be able to process the backlog and keep up with the new demand as well.

I don't recognize your forum name so perhaps remind us by posting on our "contact us" form on www.kijoma.net.

Cheers

hi,

Apologies for the delay, I do not check the forums very often these days as too busy smile

We are currently not connecting any new "general tariff" customers in Portsmouth area . The site we planned to expand on for this was aggressively taken over by a "competitor" over your way.

We are supporting existing customers and have alternate sites available. However as our expansion diary for this year is already full based on the highest demand areas requesting service, then adding more general coverage for Portsmouth is on the back burner for now.

We had to reduce the original scope of our expansion plan as it is due to the seemingly endless explosion of demand for service in currently served areas. Much like last year.

Cheers

Bill

Thanks for your reply - I am glad things are going so well for you.

Hopefully you will be able to take on new customers in the Portsmouth area before too long.

Hi Bill,

It is great to hear that you are really busy, its not surprising given the terrible speeds BT provide on thier exchanges around here.

Any way I'm trying to get hold of you so we can get your services installed at our office in in the Horsham Area - myself and a colleague have tried the form on your website but I guess your too busy.....

We really need to get up and running ASAP and I wonder if you could contact me: david.cook at bigideasinc.co.uk (added spaces so I don't get spammed and you know where the symbol goes)

thanks!!
