Please suggest an ISP I can use for 2 month only

I'm moving house and in the new house there is no phone line at the moment and BT says it will take about 6 weeks to get it installed and another 2 weeks to get the internet working. So I'm looking for a wireless broadband provider which I can only use for 2 month untill i get the other one working. Large data download limit is a plus as i might watch an occasional iPlayer show.

Pay as you go mobile broadband is probably the only answer for short term.

Have a look at http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/?modem=1

You will need to check coverage! If three don't have good coverage where you are all the other mobile phone networks have pay as you go mobile broadband offerings.

Another possible option is if there is a neighbour with a fon spot (or BT fon) http://www.btfon.com/

Thanks for the reply. I also noticed this deal on their website - sim only for £15.99 with 5GB allowance. http://threestore.three.co.uk/dealsummary.aspx?offer...
Does this mean that if i borrow a usb dongle I can use it with this sim? Do all sims work with all dongles?

Yes you could. Although if you don't know what you are doing and configure incorrectly or have compatibility issues it may be more hassle than the £4.99 you would have saved.

If you can borrow a dongle off someone why would you not be able to use their SIM, buy a top-up for it or just pay them for using it? I.E. why would you need to purchase another SIM?
