[!!SPAM] on some of my email subject lines

...including emails from Microsoft, Classicsonline, dabs, and Zen (all quite respectable companies). I don't think it's anything I've done - has something changed at the Zen end?

what email account are you using?

Is it through an Exchange server?

No, just Thunderbird, but I'm using Mailwasher to look at the Zen POP server, and it's possible that it's Mailwasher doing it.
