Fibre Broadband Routers

[link to this post]

Hi,

My cabinet will be enabled for fibre broadand on 30th of this month and it looks like I will be going with Zen, my question is what fibre broadband routers are compatible on there service (apart from the ones they offer on there site).

Thanks.

Any router with a WAN Ethernet port and support PPPoE, i.e most cable routers sold over the last few years

Any other requirements, price, features?

Connect the firewall directly to the BT provided modem.

You'll need to configure the PPPoE client on the PIX which will need to be running version 7.2(1) software or later.
