Looks like something is using it.

Well the line certainly did not drop as the backup line did not kick in.

one computer is on and i have checked that. i wondered if others on zen are seeing an increase in the evening?

Interesting... this is what I ended up seeing - but remember this is also over an IPv6 tunnel...

Here are some BQM graphs for my Zen FTTC line which seem to show latency issues.

I am a light user - typically around 20 GB per month. For months my BQM graphs usually looked like this:

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/a78af69e3c9...

Then, in early September this year they changed overnight to look like this:

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/58147fa3005...

I spoke to Zen. They seemed to accept that the change depicted by the BQM graph was a 'fault' and did not think it was a congestion issue. Resetting the Openreach modem made no apparent difference but after a reset of the Technicolor router the BQM changed to this:

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/93c283b42b9...

But today the BQM is back to this:

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping/share/e22fb2d97ac...

Changing router from Technicolor to an Airport Express has made no difference. I shall raise the matter again with Zen. Any thoughts about this cycle would be welcome.

Edited to correct broken last link.
