Do Zen's prices include VAT?

[link to this post]

I'm not sure if the "home" package prices include VAT when looking on the Zen website - on PlusNet where I'm a customer the home ones do, and the "Business packages" are ex-VAT - is it the same on Zen?

Looking at the price differences between residential and business, I would say residential prices are quoted including VAT, and business prices are quoted excluding VAT (which is the norm).

Zen Unlimited Fibre 2 (60/20Mb FTTC) | IPv6 via HE | » Automated Hourly HTTPx5 TBB Speed Tests «
Previous ISPs » aaisp.net (40/10Mb FTTC) | Virgin Media (50Mb/Cable) | Be* Un Limited (ADSL2+) | Zen (ADSL)

Thanks - I would think so, too, however the Fibre Unlimited 2 (with the extra charge for not taking phone rental from Zen) comes out as being only 60p/month more than I'm currently paying for my current PN Business ADSL2+ package - not a bad thing, but usually think of PN as the cheaper option and Zen as the slightly more premium priced one - which makes me question if the price is missing an extra 20% on top.

As has been said, the prices on Zen's home user pages are quoted with VAT included. You have to add £5.40 per month (£4.50 per month plus VAT) to the headline FTTx prices if you don't take the FTTx plus line rental bundle.

Unlimited Fibre 2 without Zen line rental is £35.40 per month including VAT.

Many thanks David. Currently paying £34.80 (inc VAT) for my ADSL service. The local fibre cabinet activation honestly can't happen soon enough!

I worked it out to be £34.20inc vat Zen FTTC80/20 £24.00 + £4.50 surcharge = £28.50 then add VAT @20% =£34.20

Unlimited Fibre 2 is £25/month excluding VAT, not £24, which is why your VAT inclusive figure is £1.20/month lower than mine, Tommy.

Excluding VAT, it's £25 plus £4.50 = £29.50/month. Add the 20% VAT and you get £35.40/month.
