Just signed up for the gamers package

Hey! Just signed up for this package, coming over from Madasafish and hoping to bring my evening pings times down to a useable level!

Ive supplied my mac code and I hope that interleaving isnt turned back on my line with my migration over to PN? My sync to my exchange has never dropped from the max so im hoping for decent times! I get 11ms to my current ISP's webby when my connection is playing ball (not often).

Ive also signed up for the line rental and free evening and weekend calls to bring that over from Maaf also!

If it is, an option will appear in your portal 'connection settings' after a few days of becoming active to switch interleaving on/off.

You don't have this option ?

edit: On further inspection, it can only be turned off once, and not back on. So that would be why you don't have the option, as yours is off already.

If you don't have the option in your control panel to turn interleaving off, and you find that it's turned on, you can have it turned off by filling out the form here (login needed when following link).

Does this just apply to new connections or does it include migrations?. Seems rather odd that anyone wanting the guaranteed faster speeds of PRO for gaming, are then penalised with a slightly slower ping.

It applies to all orders.

It's entirely possible that there may be customers who are migrating to us from other suppliers due to intermittency in the service that they have been receiving, which may be down to the fact that their previous ISP had not tried applying interleaving on their line.

Can you see the contradiction James. Gamers want fast speeds and low pings. I understand low pings are the priority. To add 10/20ms just in case there's a problem to everyones connection on a package marketed at gamers seems a little odd.
