New to Maxdsl

Hi,

We have just joined plusnet and gone on to Max dsl - James said to try it even though we were at the end of a long line. I am pleased to say that the router was reporting a download speed of 2.5 mb which was holding fine. Ran a speed test but our connection was still not getting above our usual fixed rate of 1 mb. Have read a few posts here I thought it best to reboot the router and see if that made a difference. It didn't but what it did do was lower the router reading to 2.25mb.

What do I do about the speed still being at 1 mb and will bt start to raise the speed again to the router?
