slow speeds tonight

just wondering if anyone was experiencing any slower than normal speeds tonight, im connected at 5824, which is about normal, line profile is 4500, which again is norm, usually 4k or 4.5k, but not running faster than 2mb at mo, not changed anything, drivers,settings, and pings are still good to games just the d/load speed.
Was fine last night, done a few line tests here and at plusnet site and both getting around same speeds roughly 2mb, exhange status is green also

well to asnwer myself it seems to have settled down now back to normal speeds, may have been alot of internet users tonight
anyone else have same thing or was it just me

Must say I didn't notice any problems. As you say may just have been a busy exchange tonight - unfortunately the green / amber / red status of the exchange is only updated periodically and tends to show how it was a week or so ago. Perhaps you should keep an eye on it to see if it changes.

My exchange has been busy lately as well and have seen slow downs myself.

Having same problems again tonight, have used the broadband fault checker on plusnet site, awaiting response, im on hunslet exhange in leeds, any one else connected to this and is it running ok
