Ticket 23909540

[link to this post]

Wouldn't normally post such a request here, but can someone at Plusnet take a peek at this ticket please. It's for a simultaneous provide, BT have been messing around for nearly 2 weeks with assorted non-responses and fake codes, and I'm almost out of time.

Cheers

Hi there,

Sorry for the delay, I've passed this on to our provisioning team and they'll place the order on the new code for you shortly.

Hope that helps,

Thanks. Someone in CSC just replied to the Ticket, but I'm not convinced they've read it properly before replying. I've replied, but can't afford to be waiting 24 hours for a reply each time.

I'll put a reply on the ticket explaining in full detail, but BT haven't given you a proper simultaneous provide reference so we'll need to wait till the phone line is provided before we can order the broadband. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about this, you need to cancel that order with BT and get them to place a simultaneous provide. As per the ticket response you can check this when they give it to you.

Hope that helps, sory for the hassle,

Hi,

Yep, that's sorted it. The broadband order is being placed as we speak.

Hi,

I can't believe the mess BT make of this process. I guess it all starts with the "BT Local Business" companies who are only interested in selling movers new kit and BT Broadband.

Anyway, it looks like after > 50 phone calls and nearly 2 weeks, we've got there.

Btw, apparently they can add the "Fast Peter" onto a standard provide, there's no requirement to cancel the original order if it's been started incorrectly.

I assumed as much from the fact that you came back with the same code, but that is definitely one of the most useful bits of knowledge I've come across ever, I think. Many thanks for that, and glad its all going ahead now.
