Changing from Cable to Plusnet

My sister is currently with Virgin Cable and wishes to return back to a BT line which still exists. The BT representative said the return(keeping her same number) would cost nothing and BT would arrange the return.
She is interested in the Plusnet Broadband & Home Phone Package 1, as Plusnet is owned by BT, do Plusnet arrange the transfer directly to Plusnet or would she have to go through BT first and then go to Plusnet when she has the BT line.

We could order the line, but I think the 'return for free' offer is only available direct from BT (Although owned by BT, we operate separately to them).

I can double check tomorrow anyway. Someone else was asking the same question earlier today and I missed the conclusion of that discussion.

Hi there,

If the existing BT line is active this will be free and could be arranged through us.

If the line is stopped or ceased we can still arrange this but there is likely to be a cost associated.

We can port a number from the cable network as BT Retail do so keeping the number wouldn't cause any issues.
