Does the free month only go to those who ask for it? Or is this the PlusNet way of extracting maximum cash from those with maximum ignorance of what the offers are?

Hi Simon,

As per http://www.plus.net/pipex/

Click the 'Switch to PlusNet now' button to go to our dedicated broadband switching page. Get your MAC Key from your current provider, enter it in the box provided and then choose the PlusNet broadband product that suits you. You'll also have the opportunity to add a Home Phone package if you want. You'll pay for your first month but you can request a refund via the Help Assistant.
