I got moved on to the fibre trial today and am getting 37 MB down and 1.6 up.
Is this the expected upload speed?

The package makes no difference... There are no upload restrictions on PlusNets FTTC trial.
You should be getting around 7 or 8Mbs upload speeds. What does the bt speedtest show for the upload IP profile - it should be 10000.

Well the speedtester is not working at the minute. And my connection speed is down to 5MB atm any way so i doubt a speed test will tell us very much.

The BT speedtest will tell you a lot, possibly even where the problem is, so you should keep trying (it is down frequently). Don't forget you need to run the FTTC test.

When I tried to use it in Firefox it sometimes wouldn't work. Yet it did in IE, just a thought.
