BT Wholesale page when accessing certain websites

I am a Plusnet user on Broadband Premier Option 1, and also have Fibre on my line (was part of the Fibre trials)

I've been away for a week, but I've noticed today that I get a BT wholesale page coming up at random intervals when trying to access websites.
The BT page says the following:

You have been connected to this page due to one of the following reasons. You must now shut down your browser and Internet applications before attempting to reconnect.
The BTWholesale access circuit to your Service Provider is currently down.
Your service should be resumed soon.
Or
You are testing your local connection to BT using
'bt_test_user@startup_domain'
Or
You are testing your connection to your Service Provider using 'bt_test_user@domain' where domain is your Service Provider domain name.
Or
Your Service Provider is currently unable to accept your connection request please wait until service is restored or contact your Service Provider for further information.
Or
You have attempted to access an invalid Service Provider domain.


Just a temporary issue, or could it be something that needs looking into?

If you're using the Netgear router we supplied the easiest fix is to manually enter the DNS server addresses in the router.

Log in to the router control panel, go to basic settings, scroll down to "Use These DNS Servers" and enter:
Primary DNS: 212.159.6.9
Secondary DNS: 212.159.6.10
