Exchange Upgrade Dringhouses York

Hello all,
I received an email containing the following from Plusnet on 14/11/2011

"We have good news for you. The exchange equipment we use to provide your service has now been upgraded, and we can offer you a faster 'upto 20Mb' service.
You don't need to do anything, and we'll switch you over automatically, for free.
We expect this to happen within the next 5 weeks."

I then received the same email again on 20/1/2012. and since then nothing.

No noticable speed increase and no further email. Any ideas ?

For those interested, this was his reply:

"The original order from November didn't complete, unfortunately there aren't any error messages to show why. The more recent one has gone through and you are on the up to 20Mb service now. Due to the length of your line it's unlikely you'll see much of a downstream speed increase, however your upload should now be faster than previously. "

and my observation : correct, no increase in download speed [c3.4Mb], upload has increased from around 0.3Mb to 0.9Mb
