No static IP available with John Lewis Broadband

Just an FYI that there appears to be an inability for plusnet to provision a customer for a static IP when connecting as a John Lewis Broadband customer.

Anyone else managed to get a *working* static IP?

How much does it cost to have a static IP address?

A static IP address from John Lewis Broadband costs a one-off fee of £5. If you need a static IP address, just login to My account and click on the Internet tab to add your static IP address

The product supports it, but it appears that Plusnet haven't been able to get this working on the John Lewis platform yet.

Just an FYI if anyone is relying on a static IP before migrating to JLB.

Well, indeed. I'm very happy to pay for one, but there's seemingly an inherent problem with provisioning static IPs for JLB customers despite the product being advertised as such.

It's now been 36 hours and there's no resolution, despite the best efforts of the front line tech support guys.
Anyone else using JLB who has purchased a static IP and has actually managed to get one working?

There's a known problem (ref: 71128). I've no ETA on when it will be fixed though I'm afraid.

To confirm, is this just affecting me or is this now acknowledged as a platform issue affecting all John Lewis customers?

Update: just had it confirmed that this issue is affecting all JLB customers.
