Unlimited = Better?

Anyone on the new unlimited products yet then, if so have you noticed a better speed at all times with your applications etc, as from what i've read it seems on the unlimited products all things run at line speed?.

Yes, in general, between 8 and 10pm, but it depends on what package you have upgraded from.

I've been on unlimited since Boxing Day and it's safe to say I've been making the most of it! I've been streaming with LoveFilm, using Usenet (p2p), Sky on demand and general surfing and not noticed any slowdown yet.

Good to hear..............what with adding a Smart TV so being able to use the likes of BBC iPlayer the usage will be going up so need to consider a switch from Extra with is 60GB limit to Unlimited eventually???

Bear in mind that iPlayer etc will often play in HD if your connection can handle it. So be careful with that.

That doesn't matter on unlimited!!

Indeed, I think that was routefinder's point. I can't see any reason not to upgrade from Extra to Unlimited myself, as long as you are happy with the new contract (or happy to pay extra for the non-contract option).
