evening speeds this week

Normally I get speeds of 15meg throughout the day and this has been the case for months. I have ADSL2 with a sync speed to the exchange of around 18 meg. I use speedtest.net to check my connection.

However, this week in the evenings my speeds have dropped to around 2meg (varies between 1 and 3 meg) and ping latency has increased (my router remains connected at 18 meg), so it seems to be some kind of congestion.

The plusnet service portal shows no problems. Is anybody else experiencing this issue?

I must start using the community plusnet forums. And the evening I don't bother to check the service status is the one where an announcement is made

Yes, my speeds have completely gone to pot this evening as well, normally everything runs at full speed all the time so it's quite a shock to only be getting about 2 meg when I'm synced at 66362!

Edit: just did a disconnect and hopped from pcl-ag02 to pcl-ag07, which fixed the problem. Have posted in Community Forum.
