Is it easy to change IP address with Plusnet ?

Is it as simple as just switching on and off your router (like it used to happen with Orange) ?

Yes it should be dynamic and change when disconnected and reconnected, or you can pay a one off £5.00 and get a static one.

Thanks. And at the moment, I'm with 02. Their IP addresses seem to be quite sticky even though it's dynamic. Would Plusnet's not be sticky ?

I don't want to sign up with them and then find their IP address 'system' is like 02's.

I moved from O2 to PlusNet FTTC last month, service is geat. My IP address seems to change about every three days even without a router reboot. I'm guessing a soft restart must be happening occasionally to cause the IP change.

Do you know if IP address changes constantly with standard broadband ? - I don't have any particular need to go for FTTC to be honest.

They change whenever you reconnect.

They change on a re-sync, never come across a sticky one yet with my 20CN connection.
