Well all sorted now Plusnet have admitted they can't provide the speed that was estimated so off to Virgin Media next week with 60meg download free for 6 months etc etc.
One surprise came out of all this was the fact that with Plusnet you have two contracts, one for Phone and one for Broadband. They initially just cancelled the broad band one but after a few discussions decided to cancel both, so not sure where the two contracts came from as I joined Plusnet Home Phone and Broadband not two separate deals.

Thanks time will tell, most things work these days it's when it doesn't that good customer service is needed.
