I've just been running a dew further tests that may have caused this to see if there was anything more underlying.

Sorry for prior warning to seeing if anything came up which unfortunately it didn't.

I thought the letters in your signature might be an amateur radio call sign which could have explained it! laugh

Someone in CS told me (think it was last year) that they (Plus.Net) routinely disconnect around every 7 to 10 days. Not sure if it is correct. Seemed odd to me, but not impossible.

Rubbish - doesn't happen
My current up time is 17 days 4 hours

EDIT - I should keep my mouth shut
Just had a resync with the exchange - weather related probably as it is a bit rough down here at present
Will need to resync tomorrow to get the speed back up again

I've managed continuous connections measured in months before now and I've seen posts from other people saying the same.

Hi there,

Dropped 3pm yesterday and then at quarter to midnight the night before, 4 days before that so I wouldn't have said it's anything to worry about unless it's lowered your speeds or keeps happening. Well worth keeping an eye on things though, and if you can think of any possible sources of interference that were working or turned on/off at those times they may be worth investigating.
