I applied even tho I not moved yet, if they require me to be active and then I mis it will be annoying especially as my order is stuck and no response from customer support like they on holiday.

I ended up ringing up since ticket still wasnt updated this morning. Guy on the phone saying he could find nothing wrong and is pushing order himself through now so I will check in an hour if its progressed.

you know if plusnet tickets are normally lefit unanswered for days?

I see also aside from plusnet's graphs for QoS been offline their call centre graphs are offline as well.

My experience of Plusnet is that tickets were answered in line with the average times they displayed for different methods of customer service. When I raised tickets IIRC that would be around a day or less. Good place to raise issues like this is the official Plusnet forums.

as long as we accepted, its possible not all of us who applied will be and I am not a customer yet.

I do find it funny tho this occured whilst we had the other discussion over on the zen forums smile

Indeed, a great coincidence!

Due to my use of a dual-WAN load balancing router it would force me to double-NAT IPv4 on the Plusnet link in order to use IPv6 dual stack as I'd have to terminate the PPPoE in front of the router and run some bizarre hybrid of routed IPv6 and NAT IPv4 with the IPv6 only routing via one endpoint.

My router is very, very capable but can't do that smile

The problem really is that my home network looks like this - I'd have to put an IPv6 CPE in between my router and the ECI modem.

Unfortunately creating the test accounts is an entirely manual process at the moment, so we didn't want to put too many out there and overstretch.

Yes, on reflection I thought so too. Shall we say I wasn't in the first dozen or so to apply. I expect (alternatively) it's possible they are issuing the usernames/passwordaccount modifications simply going down the list. Which will take time.

there is a 2nd unannounced batch been processed now. I have asked to be on it when my account is activated, but still no acceptance, they just said will tell me more by end of week.

given not many people applied I would think its the honourable thing to do is just give every applicant an account and I hope thats what they doing with this 2nd batch.
