I expect if BT is listed, isp's owned by BT wont be excluded.
Plusnet reps stated at the time that the court order did not apply to Plusnet. There was a kerfuffle leading up to that, as it was getting blocked like now. That got fixed.

As has been said, they didn't apply the court order.

Didn't a rep say here just the other day that this re-occurrence of the block is only on some lines, and that the routing varies? For some reason some are routed through where BT apply the block and others aren't, and that it would be difficult to stop that happening?

I get that ISPs are not in a position to argue with court orders, but when it comes to the "parental controls" (aka state censorship) part, is it absolutely mandatory to make it opt-out instead of opt-in? Because as a guy in a relationship but with no children, I can't help but see all this as pure censorship when thrown in my direction.

I shouldn't be having to tell my ISP (and hence the government idiots that came up with this whole thing) that I want my connection to be unfiltered.

Welcome to the world of government by "sound-bites"!

Logic & common sense are "unknowns" within the world of modern Politics - it is all directed at opportunist "sound-bites" & looking for any "passing Band-Wagons" to jump on!
