Urrggh. Thanks for clearing that up. There was me thinking aside from having a much faster connection I would be able to get some of these great deals that are always advertised. So on Plusnet currently it would cost me £27.49 for the 76 Mbps option. That's too much.

Although your exchange is Market 1, is there any LLU at it? TalkTalk have enabled a lot of M1 exchanges.
That doesn't change them, but the M1/2/3 classification gets replaced soon - I forget the exact date. Things might be different then if there is LLU present.

Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 58.7/14.6Mbps @ 600m. - BQM

No LLU available. Guess I should be happy my area will be getting Fibre at all, now I know that it will cost more than the advertised price I will likely go for the 38 Mbps option instead which will be plenty for my needs. That will be a big jump from 6Mbps.

My exchange is currently Market 1 and TalkTalk is available on LLU. However, that changes nothing as far as I have seen with the new classification. We will still be market 1 or its equivalent.

Cheers
I know this is going off topic but why should my exchange be more than anywhere else once it is upgraded to Fibre? I understand if it's old ADSL Max rather than ADSL2+, but if Fibre then whats the difference ?

I am on market B and I have phone line rental with anytime call plan and fibre unlimited 80/20 (both) with plusnet and I got the deal over 24 months contract as a discreetly. So, I cannot discuss with the public.
