Sudden but consistent speed reduction

I joined Plusnet in April as a refugee from COMS/ADSL24.
The speed I was getting initially from my FTTC was around 20Mbps which was the best I could expect from my line.
This was consistent up until recently. I don't check my speed often but I noticed a week or two ago that downloads were taking longer than usual and that no matter what time of day I tested I was getting 15Mbps and no more.
I have run the BT Wholesale test and find that although my BT line profile is set to 20.55/10 Mbps I am actually getting 15.91/2.59 Mbps.
This is confirmed on the thinkbroadband.com tester.
Is this likely to be the result of a Plusnet profile?

On our tester are the tbbx1 and HTTPx6 results the same?

Go to your Member Centre, and from the left-hand menu take Connection details >> High speed broadband. In there you will see the Current line speed.

With an IP Profile of 20.55Mbps I expect that to be 20.5Mbps. If so, that isn't the problem.

AVG TBBX1 is 14.73
Burst TBBx1 is 15.61
AVG HTTPx6 is 15.51
Burst HTTx6 is 17.23

Are you testing when connected wired or wireless to the router? We need to be sure it isn't a wireless issue smile

(Edit - the Current line speed is the copy IP Profile rounded down, and is the limit imposed by Plusnet to minimise packet loss).
