In response to other threads here, I've long been a strong protagonist of PN. Recently, however, I've not been so happy.
Progressive deterioration in (non-fibre) performance is, I strongly suspect, due to PN's total dependence on BT Openreach (and its subcontractors) which pursues its own agenda.
A difficult situation for PN, as a subsidiary of BT. No doubt deeply frustrating for the PN support guys, who continue to do their best.
But I suspect also that top-level changes have been made at PN, resulting in deterioration in service. Cost cutting? I still await some sort of helpful response to a ticket raised on 16/09.
