Am I right in thinking.......

I can't get routerstats running because on a fibre connection the modem has the stats and not the router?

You need dslstats running from unlocked HG612 Openreach Modem to see the full stats. Not the router.

Beware, if u have ECI Openreach Modem, you won't be able to see full stats because it very difficult to unlock it.

Thanks for the offer, but with 73Mbps download with an ECI modem on a Huawei FTTC cab, I'm more than happy. smile

is that throughput speed? If so, you are more likely at the maximum sync rate. What does BT & PN IP Profile give u?

Nice speeds, hope they stay the same. Friends of mine who started of at max speed after 8 months have lost nearly 9 meg as other customers were connected. They were issued ECI modems and I suggested a Huawei HG612 and they got one from eBay and "unlocked" and now can see the data rate info. There are a couple of third party programs that log the data too and draw graphs.

I've always been around 50meg sync, and 45mbps real world throughput.

plusnet unlimited fibre - 2 Jun 14 - 470m - 80/20 - Summer/dry sync 55/9.4, Winter/wet sync 52/9.1
15 years broadband (1999 ntl:cable trial) - Asus RT-AC68U with HG612 - BQM - Summer PN speed - Winter PN speed
