Gone with p;usnet

i ordered plusnet on sunday, so i hope i have done the right thing.
I also canceled my provider on Friday and that was a sad day as i really do not want to move provider.
I just hope plusnet will be up and running before i lose my broadband from my provider.

i really I have not make a big mistake in doing this.

Depends, who you are changing from and what your expectations are from Plusnet.

As a customer on their fibre product for almost two years, its generally been fine. However they've been playing up recently as of late, just hope its not a capacity issue.

A mate of mine is with Plusnet, he said most of the time it is fine, but now and again it just seems to drop speed down to ADSL speed, about 5-6Mb/s for him. I do think that it is is more to do with his wireless than Plusnet as when the speed dropped once on his laptop I tested the speed on his desktop and it was fine.

I hope they don't have a capacity problem, because that is why I am leaving my supplier.
As for what i expect, I expect a speed of at least 10-15 Mb/s, i been told i should get up to 33, and be able to do more than one thing at once without the network coming to a full stop.

I hope it is a capacity issue, that can be addressed by adding more capacity, which Plusnet does, frequently.

That is true, my current provider is going to do that, but it could take up to june/july to do it, that is if BT moved their backside.

So I hope I do not go from one provider with capacity issues to another.

rubbish plusnet router, that is the problem. that is why I will not be using it. i did notice int he ordering process that i did not have to have it, but it is fine as a spare,.

For support issues. ISP appear only to support their router. Hopefully never needed

Plusnet doesn't care what router you use for support.
