does it have one, cant find any info on Google

Do pages 6-127 and 6-128 help in this manual for what looks like a related product?

If you are on PlusNet, The F@ST� 2704N uses a special firmware for PN and a few functions/features are disabled.

There isn't a log page or sys-log that I've found so far and telnet appears to be have been disabled. (This would have given access to the sys-log via telnet).

There is a hidden 'expert user' page which you can visit 192.168.1.254/expert_user.html for extra pages. (change to use your IP if different. PN default seems to be 192.168.1.254).

To get more detailed line statistics, in the left hand menu, click Device Info -> Summary -> Statistics -> xDSL

i seem to be having random disconnects but without an error log cant pin down a time
WHY do ISPs mess with the firmware and leave out such basic info

Are the menu options shown on the pages I suggested missing then?

yes, unfortunately system log has been disabled by Plusnets firmware version ;(

I was having the same problems with random disconnects.
The firmware on there doesn't like certain line conditions/errors and was throwing it's toys out of the pram.
I had to swap out to an old WAG160n that I had laying around and used that to diagnose the line problems.

I had an issue where even though PN had requested BTOR fix my downlink SNR to 6dB, the router would initially set itself to 6.9dB or thereabouts for about 60secs and then shoot down to 1dB. Line would then go up/down like a yo-yo.

I don't think PN will be using that router for too much longer.

Firmware has so much disabled, it's next to useless...
