What's Plusnets current official scope for the DSF being 20 (i.e. bronze).

I'm seeing Bronze on wireshark, and would like to know the rules they purpote to apply to it?

It can depend what product you are on and when you joined.

I joined around 18 years ago, and have a long and colourful relationship with them, right up until I quit the PUG around 12 years ago after lie upon lie upon lie (I am reminded of a man who reminded me of a potato). Point me to the T&Cs of the moment, then I'll argue it with them.

So, I won't be bringing back up old contentions re: the inability to track long term users, and promises made in emails, posts and announcements.

The current T&C's so helpfully linked to by RobertOS do not specify any limit. Just a vague mention that they may or may not have limits, at certain undefined times of the day, week, month, lunar eclipse of the minor planet Pluto.

My traffic is being placed in the bronze queue "just because".

Silver
Bronze
Best Effort (lowest priority)

To be honest, I've got enough captures now to take it up with them myself.

The page that applies to me is this one http://portal.plus.net/support/broadband/speed_guide... which doesn't really say anything at all. Long ago Plusnet gave actual figures when it came to bronze queue, now they give nothing.

How does that page apply to you? It's headed "Managing our network under abnormal load", which is times like the Olympics or Commonwealth Games.

Although some traffic (P2P/Usenet) may show as bronze, there are no rate limits imposed so it'll perform as fast as possible depending on what other traffic is going over your connection at any point.
