Another mess from PN with it's routers

If anyone has requested one of the 'free' routers from PN, they will have taken the postage, but don't seem to have any routers to post and from live chat they do not seem to have any definite dates for when they will have any. "Shortly" can be a long time.

They were telling partners that issue had been resolved, so I guess they might not have been entirely truthful...

I am surprised they did not say "Saturday" but not which Saturday. They are economical with the truth too many times.

Hold on...so PlusNet's taking customers but don't have any routers to send them meaning many customers are going to be going without a connection even though in some cases their lines may have already been switched or activated for PlusNet's broadband??

Or have I come at this from the wrong angle?

Sounds about right for Pn for me.

I'm genuinely scared of what will become of EE... I've been very happy with there service over the past 12-13 months but now I feel that spending will be cut and with that will follow problems...

Unless the customer already has their own router.

They must have had some recently, I had one delievered yesterday.

How long had you been waiting?

Signed up at the beggining of the month but the activation date isn't till the 23rd (date I picked), although the router turned up before the text message saying it had been dispatched.
