New router

Have BB with PN and switching to fibre on Friday.
New router arrived today.
Can I set it up now with my BB connection or is it best to wait until Friday?

assuming it is a Hub 1 you can set it up now and it will auto switch once fibre is enabled

I set my Hub1 up in advance of fibre and it performed well using adsl - just follow instructions using ethernet and laptop,
